If you can knit, crochet or sew, there are lots of organisations which will appreciate your efforts.  Different branches create for different projects and so it is difficult to identify them all but, if you can make it, somebody will want it.

Below is a collection of patterns which have been used for projects recently. Click on the photo for a downloadable pattern.

Mothers' Union in the Diocese of Bath and Wells created an excellent pdf booklet containing many useful knitting patterns in 2021.

If you're looking for a free pattern for your project and there isn't one on this page, an excellent source for free patterns is the website www.lovecrafts.com.

Note that items with a Mothers' Union label have to conform to Health and Safety regulations.  For example, All handmade toys made and distributed by Mothers’ Union need to carry a CE mark to show that the essential safety requirements of the Toy Safety Directive are being met. Using the knitting patterns and instructions given on the MSH Mothers’ Union website will ensure that our handmade toys meet these high safety standards and can have a CE label attached.
