Prayer Requests

You are not alone. If you would like prayer for yourself or someone you know who is in difficulty due to ill health, family or work situations, please call us. Please be careful to get permission from any person you wish us to pray for, or if that is not possible, from a close relative. We will only use Christian names.

Please contact Ann Gibbons on 01926 852925

Prayers are for one month unless you ask us to continue or let us know the prayer need has changed.

Wave of Prayer

In July of 1920, about a hundred worldwide representatives of the Mothers' Union met in London. So powerful were the relationships forged during the week of discussion and prayer that definite steps were taken to maintain common commitments and goals.  The Wave of Prayer was born! The Wave of Prayer calendar includes every area worldwide where Mothers’ Union works.

Our "Wave of Prayer" is a continuous expression of our commitment in prayer to each other. It runs throughout the year so that the work and members of each and every area in which Mothers' Union is active is prayed for at some point. We include this in our midday prayers. Will you remember to pray especially for our partners in prayer on those days?

Akot in South Sudan; South West Tanganyika in Tanzania; Aba & Irele-Ese Odo in Nigeria and Cuttack in India.
